Alan’s Obituary
Alan John Sauer passed away on April 11, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital, at 66 years old. He was born in Kelvington, SK on October 16, 1953. He resided in Lintlaw, SK from 1953 to 1960 and then the family moved to Moose Jaw in July 1960. He is predeceased by his parents John and Jean, siblings Joanne, Karen, Kenny, Garry and nephews Michael Sauer and John Probert. Alan is survived by his sisters Linda and Lorraine, and brother Donnie, all of Moose Jaw; niece Kathy Probert-Quinn (Allan) of Charlottetown, PEI, niece Amanda Vantassel of Dartmouth, NS, nephews Alexander, Shaun & family, all of Moose Jaw, nephew Dylan of Charlottetown, PEI, and cousin Dianne Kelly (Rick) & family. The family extends their thanks to Diversified Services, CNIB, and MJ Transit. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, Regina General Hospital, EMS, and Dr Amanda Waldner. Thanks very much to all of the caregivers who made his life more enjoyable. As an expression of sympathy donations in Alan’s name may be made to the Covid19 Pandemic Emergency Response Fund – c/o The Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 55 Diefenbaker Dr, Moose Jaw, SK, S6J 0C2. When the current restrictions of Covid19 are lifted, we will gather for a Celebration of Alan’s life with the date to be announced.
