Alan Richard Rolston, age 70, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020 in New Westminster. Alan was born on May 4th, 1949 in Nakusp, BC. He is preceded in death by his mother Dixie, father Harvey, brother’s Tom and Wayne, ex-wife Diane and brother in law Wilbur. He is survived by his daughter Jenny, son in law Rob, grand daughters Makena, Caroline, sisters Bonny, Rita, sister in law Cheryl and many nieces and nephews. As a young man, Alan was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed working on cars. He was a caring family man. He suffered serious brain damage due to a ruptured AVM at the age of 33. Al as his friends called him, fought against the odds to regain the ability to walk and be independent again. During this time, he renewed his faith in God and was a long time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will be greatly missed by all that new him.
