Obituary for
Aimé Berthiaume
BERTHIAUME, Aimé
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the age of 71 years. Aimé was born in Abercorn, Québec to the late Georges-Émile and the late Gertrude (née Lagüe) Berthiaume. Loving father of Georges-Aimé (Carole), Mario (Janice), François (Kim), and Gaëtan (Deidra). Proud and cherished Pepère of Joshua, Danika, Isabelle, Mathieu, Charlize and Jase. Predeceased by his wife Suzanne (née Daoust) and siblings Paul-Émile (Ann), Yvon (Jeannine), René (Rollande) and Aline Lefebvre (Sylvio). Dear brother of Yvette Daoust (late Roger). He will be greatly missed by his beloved companion Hermance Veilleux and family. Aimé was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a lifelong fan of the Montreal Canadiens. Throughout his life he loved fishing, hunting and camping at the Vermillion Lake Park. A favorite pastime of his was catching up with friends at the coffee shop. Due to the current pandemic a private gathering will be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford. A private funeral Mass to be held at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Donations can be made by cheque to the Onaping Falls Lions Club. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
