Obituary for
Adora Del Bel Belluz (Mascherin)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Cesare Del Bel Belluz (1999). Cherished mother of Anna (John), Victor (Chris), Perry (Nadine), Luisa and Danny. Dear grandmother of Amanda (Claude), Michael and Adam. Proud great grandmother of James. Dora is predeceased by her parents Victorio and Luigia Mascherin.
Adora was an original hockey mom and respected matriarch of the family. Strong, and always ready to defend her family and friends if the situation demanded it. She was also reflective and loving. Through most of her life Adora was “on the go’ at all times. She worked tirelessly at home and the family was expected to keep up their end. In fact, you could say Adora led by example. Along with her husband Cesare and her children, Adora was a well respected member of the community. Her extra-curricular activities included a passion for blueberry and mushroom picking, fantastic Italian cooking and her outstanding “Dora Burgers” she also loved the TCM classic movie channel. She was a long-standing member of The Dante Club, The Catholic Women’s League, the close-knit Birthday Girls club and the Sacred Heart craft club. Adora lived and loved through mostly happy and the occasional sad times with a passion. Even in the last year of her life she could shoot you a glance as if to say “you have to be kidding me” When the day is done Adora will be remembered for making those in her life feel special.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from the Sacred Heart Church (Father John officiating). Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital, in appreciation of their excellent Palliative Care unit would be greatly appreciated. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the
