Ada’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ada Eudora “Dodie” Lambert on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in her 77th year, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Point, Newfoundland due to Cancer.
Dodie was born in Glenburnie (Western Arm) on April 1, 1944.
She was the beloved Wife to Alex “Rene” Lambert and Wilson Brett, both predeceased.
Dodie was a loving Mother to Todd Brett (Nancy White), Wayne Brett, Kara Jubb (Dennis Jubb) and Melissa Cronin (Christopher Cronin) and will be especially missed by her many Grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Amelia, Jessica, Braydon, Madyson and her Great-Grandchildren Olivia, Canon, Hannah and Khloe and extended family.
Dodie was a part of a large family with eleven Brothers and Sisters. She is survived by her siblings Maxine Osmond (Hayward Osmond), Blanche McCreary (Carmen McCreary), James Young, Gilbert Young (Tilly Young), Gloria Butt, Eileen Walsh (George Walsh), Christine Walters (Rendall Walters), Regina Young, Neila Young (Clarence Payne).
She is reunited with her parents Garfield and Emma Young and her siblings Alvin Young and Lesa Young, her In-Law’s Ambrose Caines, Reginald Caines, Vivian Young, Eddie Butt, Darlene Young on her side.
On Rene Lambert’s side of the family, she will be missed and reunited with her In-Laws and their spouses Eva Foy (Norman Foy), Ethal Kayuk (John Kayuk), Nora Smades (John Smades), Leonard Lambert, William Lambert (Patricia Lambert), Beatrice LeClair (Emile LeClair), Lawrence Lambert (Laverne Lambert), Harry Lambert (Lillian Lambert), Leslie Lambert (Hazel Lambert), Dorris Whalen (James Whalen), James Lambert (Shirley Lambert), Mildred Greeley (Milton Greeley), Joesph Lambert, Eileen Lepine (Leonard Lepine), Walter Lambert (Beverly Lambert) and extended family all of whom were close to her heart.
Dodie will be sadly missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A special thank you to all of Dodie’s Doctors, Medical staff and friends over the years.

Dodie requested that there be no funeral services or visitation.
