Meagher, Harold Vincent (Buzzy) 74 of Steep Creek, Guysborough County, passed away peacefully at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, Richmond Co. in the early hours of February 8th . Born in Steep Creek he was the son of the Late: John Bernard and Dora (Park) Meagher . Buzzy was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave.
Buzzy had a great love of all things outdoors, fishing, hunting and riding around the woods on his ATV.
He is survived by one sister: Alta Flanagan in Ontario. He is predeceased by: Brothers: Clinton and Francis. Sister: June Nicholson.
Buzzy will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation for the Late: Harold (Buzzy) Meagher will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from 3-6 pm in Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Port Hawkesbury. Mass of Christen Burial will be held in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave at 11 am on Wednesday Feb. 12th with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the Care and Direction of Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Bernard St. Port Hawkesbury. Expressions of sympathy may be made at: www.greensfuneralhome.ca
