William (Bill) was born in Fox Harbour, Labrador to Arthur and Myrtle Lambert on May 12, 1939. He enjoyed many years in the woods, hunting, trapping, fishing and enjoying nature. He fished off the coast of Labrador and also spent time in the lumber woods. Later he met Rita Paul from Black Duck Cove, Ireland’s Eye Island. They were married in Britannia on February 7, 1964 and raised a family of four. He was a man of many trades, including boat building, a short time spent working with the Highways, building homes and later in life retired with the school board. Bill was known to tell a few old stories from his very colourful past and there would be few good chuckles along the way. He will be missed by a number of close family and friends.
