Obituary of Walter Roy Banks
BANKS, Walter Roy suddenly at his residence early Monday morning December 9, 2019. Walter Banks of Gillies Lake in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Giancola). Cherished father of Katherine Walsh and her husband Richard of Waterloo and Carleton Banks and his wife Brittany of Bolton. Much loved grandfather of Evelyn Walsh. Dear brother of Sheila Glennie (Reg) of Wadena, Saskatchewan and Karen McMurray of Kitchener and brother-in-law of Rocky MacCallum and his wife Mel of Meaford. Predeceased by parents Evelyn (nee Irwin) and Roy Banks, sister Irene Banks and brother-in-law Dick McMurray. Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION’S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion’s Head. A public memorial will be held at a date and time to be announced when available.
