Viola’s Obituary
Viola “Vi” Johnson of Moose Jaw, SK passed away at home, on December 28, 2019 at the age of 84. Vi was born the middle child of 16 children; born the smallest of the children she was nicknamed “Tiny”. Vi worked in Moose Jaw for many years. Upon her retirement she spent time in Bengough, Bethune and finally returning to Moose Jaw. No matter where she lived though, her family was important to her and she always had time to spend with them and cherished every moment. She will be sadly missed by her children, Brenda (Keith) Garbutt, Rob (Jackie) Johnson, Keith (Judy) Johnson; grandchildren Cody (Jen), Tanner (Kelsey), Myles, Mason, Toni (Chris) and Kyle (Karla); great grandchildren Hunter, Heidi, Kayda, Charlie and Frankie; two brothers Clifford (Dorothy) and Jerry (Diane); four sisters Esther, Florence (Gary), Lucy and Madalene (Dwight); along with numerous nieces and nephews and special extended family. A Celebration of Vi’s life will be held on Thursday January 2, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw, SK. Della Ferguson will officiate. For those wishing memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Canada, 919B Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6. In living memory of Vi, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
