Peacefully at the Hospice Cornwall on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 . Shirley Muriel Villeneuve (nee Guindon) of Maxville; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Roger Villeneuve. Loving mother of Gerald, Diane Bourgon (Ben Plourde), John (Joanne), late Dwayne, Garry (Suzanne), Denise Larocque (Claude) and Marlene Villeneuve. Cherished grandmother of Tania (Fred), late Sean, Angela (Dan), Amanda (Matthew), Ashley (Matthew), Abby, late Marc, and Nickie; great-grandmother of Maverick, Ellie, Lincoln, Colin, Braelyn, and Emma. Dear daughter of the late Phil and Dora Guindon (nee Cuerrier). Dear sister of Sylvia Douglas (Allen), Phil Guindon (Mary Lou), Mary Lacelle (Richard), and Jean Caya (late Luke). Predeceased by sisters and brothers Rene Guindon, Eileen Lefebvre (late Wilmont), Beatrice Lalonde (late Gordon), Martine McDonald (late Duncan), Claire Lefebvre (late Russell), Sister Phyllis Guindon, Charles “Buddy” Guindon (Odette), Marie Guindon, Doreen Hayman (late Jack), Hubert “Sonny” Guindon (lateTerry), Lorraine Besner (late Ernie), Peter Guindon (Marie-Paul). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main Street, Maxville, (527-2898) on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 am – 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, Maxville, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11 am. Spring Interment St. James Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Shirley a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
