Memorial Donation
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Peter Joseph MacNeil announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday December 17th, 2019 at the age of 78 years. He leaves with fond and loving memories his wife Joyce, his son David in Wes Lorne ON, his daughter Susan (Josh) in Stephenville and honorary grandchild Noah Castillo. He also leaves to mourn his two brothers; Jerry (Patsy) in Cold Brook and Archie (Lisa) in Flat Bay, his three sisters; Jessie (Ron) MacIsaac in Halifax, Ann Simms in Port aux Basques and Rose Marie (Gordon) Simms in Port aux Basques, his sisters-in-law; Norma MacNeil, Mary MacNeil and Margaret MacNeil along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John Allan and Mary MacNeil, his sister Doreen MacArthur his brothers; William, Wayne and Michael, his nephews Scott MacIsaac and Roland MacArthur, his mother-in-law and father-in-law (George and Tycie Canning) and his brothers-in-law John Simms and Leo MacArthur. Funeral services will take place on Saturday December 21st, 2019 at 10:30 am from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street. A private interment will take place at a later date.
