It is with profound sadness and much heartbreak that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, uncle and friend, Paul J. LaBonte, at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
Predeceased by his precious granddaughter Rihanna Elizabeth LaBonte; parents Paul and Catherine LaBonte; brothers Richard and Conrad; in-laws Robert and Marjorie Callahan, Diane Callahan, Bob Callahan and Randy Callahan.
Left to celebrate a lifetime of beautiful memories, are his loving wife and best friend Peggy Callahan and his cherished and devoted son Richard (fiancé Tanya, and her children Davin and Crystal).
Mourning Paul along with Peggy and Richard are his brothers Guy (Gleniss) and Andre (Lynn) and his sister-in-law Shirley LaBonte and their families.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by the Callahan family Linda (Bud Ford), Sheila Conway (Jerome – deceased), Gary (Jackie Humphries), Rick (Gail Simmonds), Marilyn (George Hutchings), Debbie (Kevin Dooley), Connie (Kevin Cooney) and Terry; sisters-in-law Margie (Walsh) and Patricia A. Laframboise and their families.
Paul will be dearly missed by a large circle of extended family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on
Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick Street. Private inurnment to take place at a later date.
Flowers graciously accepted or donation tributes in Paul’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
