Bishop, Paul Erick (June 17, 1946 – December 20, 2019)
Passed away peacefully at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Heidi for 49 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Audrey, brother Bill, sister-in-law Anna (Arnold) and sister-in law Gertrude (Miko) of BC. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews: Matthew and Brian from BC, Brenda from Windsor and Gail, Terry, TJ, James, Tammy and Russel from Kitchener, as well as two great nieces Ainsley and Mikayla from BC. Predeceased by his parents Russel (1952) and Madeline (1994), sister Ruth (1991), brothers Fred (2016) and Don (2019), and nephew Jody (2019). Paul worked at Grand River Hospital for 36 years. He was a member of Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Paul’s family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m until 12:45 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 137 Queen St. S. Funeral Service at the church on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Community Cupboard or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home).
