Owen Jack Connell Monday December 16th 2019

On the afternoon of December 16th, Owen John Connell passed away peacefully at the Lisaard House with his family by his side. Jack leaves behind his wife Norma (nee Rieck) of 69 years married November 11, 1950. Children Linda (Mike) Neyers and Richard (Heather) Connell. Grandchildren: Steven (Leeann) Smith, Kimberley (Ciprian) Pop, Leslie Cowgill and Jason (Rebecca) Neyers, great-grandchildren: Samantha, Mackenzie, Sophie, Owen, Nicole, Teanna, Tyler and Lucas, as well as one great-great grandchild on the way. He is survived by his sister Joan Hicks, sisters-in-law Shirley (Glen) Engle and Doris Schwantz.
Jack was predeceased by his sister Jean Laurence brothers-in-law, Don Laurence, Ron Hicks and Bob Schwantz as well as sisters-in-law Beatrice (Bob) Saddler and Millie (Bob) Pinder.
Family will receive friends and relatives at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Thursday, December 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 520 Ellis Rd., Cambridge on Friday, December 20th, at 11am. Interment to follow at New Hope cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lisaard House or to St. James Anglican Church.
