It is with sadness that the family announce the death of Nora Marlene Jewett on December 7, 2019 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Willard Jewett and daughter of the late Tom and Kathleen (Jones) Stephenson.
Nora retired from the Fredericton School Board District where she worked for over 30 years and made many lasting friends. Her greatest passions were
shopping and rescuing cats.
Survived by her daughter, Wendy Jewett; brother, Ralph (Gail) Stephenson; niece Sarah Jane (Jeff) Gilliss; nephews, Jonathan (Kim) Stephenson, Dwayne (Catherine) Stephenson and lifelong friend Agnes (Winston) Whittaker.

Margaret Allen and Brenda Jewett for their many visits, the staff of 4SE and
Dr. Pawsey for their compassionate care and all the wonderful staff of The Douglas Animal Hospital for the care they gave to Nora and her many animals.
She was also predeceased by her brother George Stephenson.
At Nora’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will take place at the Keswick Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to Fredericton CARMA, Fredericton SPCA or charity of donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
