GARTH DELMAN NILSSON passed away December 28, 2019. He is survived by his wife Nellie and children Robert (Michelle) Nilsson, David (Tammy) Nilsson, Mary Ann (Greg) Rolls, James (Margaret) Nilsson, Patty (Scott) Duncan, Joan (Al) Guimond, Judy (Matt) Sundal and 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Garth will be forever known for his kindness, generosity and his tender heart. He is also known for his love of curling, farming and most of all his family.
Garth was born and raised in Wrentham, it was there he met the love of his life, Nellie. They married and raised their family on the farm. In later years he retired and moved to Lethbridge.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday January 3, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, FAIRMONT CHAPEL 205 Fairmont Blvd S, Lethbridge.
Friends are welcome to meet with the family from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday January 2, 2020 at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 433 Stubb Ross Road South, Lethbridge (entrance to the airport) or from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to the service at the Church.
