Obituary of Lucy Hill
It is with great sadness the family of the late Lucy Hill of Cambellton, announce her passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday November 30th, with her loving family by her side. Lucy Hill Aged 70 years was the daughter of the late Pearce and Jane Manuel.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Ted; brothers, Bill (Ruth) Manuel, Pearce (Kathleen) Manuel, Allan (Paula) Manuel; sisters, Gladys Paddock, Grace (George) Boone, Shirley (Dexter) Luscombe, step-sister, Flora Jeans of Scarborough Ontario; brothers-in-law, Gordon (Madge), Glen (Darlene), Harry (Jean), Byron, Dorman (Marina), Reginald (Betty), Wayne (Catherine), and Ward. As well sisters-in Law, Margaret (Spenser), Lewis, Mable (Randy) Squires, Veta (Arnold) Downton, Eleanor (Eric) Mews; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents Lucy was predeceased by her sister, Daisy (Jim) Kingman; brother, Harry (Annie) Manuel, stepbrother Fred (Irene), stepsisters, Ruby, Maggie, Mary and Margaret, nephews, Nelson, Paddock and Harry Manuel; brothers-in-law, Roy Paddock, Harold Hill, William Hill, and Enos Hill
Resting at the Salvation Army Cidital in Cambellton on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Building Fund in Cambellton.
Arrangements are in the care of Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte.
