Loretta (Vera)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Loretta (Vera) Hatcher announce her passing surrounded by her family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 70 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Lucy (Marcel), Tracy (Jamie), Wayne (Lorraine), Jason (Theresa), and Beverley (Joe); her son in law Quaide; her mother Frances Cora Bennett; her brother Al (Linda); her sisters: Margaret, Lillian (Fraser), Grace (Russ), Gloria, and Madonna (Glen); her 10 grandchildren: Ryan, Natasha, Tyler, Talon, Ashley, Isaac, Daniel, Chase, Chelsea, and Vivian; her 5 great grandchildren: Sawyer, Ryker, Cora, Kaleigh, Karter; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Vera was predeceased by her father George; her husband Wayne; her daughter Annette; her sister Geniveve (Ed, Doug); her brother Gordon; her brother in law Char; and her sister in law Marie. At Vera’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from the hours of 3-4 pm from where a funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 4pm. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Society in memory of her daughter Annette.
