Obituary
Our beloved Karolin A MacPherson passed away Saturday December 7th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre after an extended illness that she fought long and hard against.
This wonderful lady was born on March 13, 1961 and was the daughter of Gilbert MacPherson and Lorna Johnson MacPherson of North Bay. She was preceded in death by both parents and her older brother Dale MacPherson. Karolin is survived by her brother Philip MacPherson and his wife Dottie of Titusville, Pa. formerly of North Bay, and sister in law Bozena MacPherson of North Bay. Her nieces Stephanie of Titusville, Pa and Sarah MacPherson of North Bay and nephews Daniel of Titusville, Pa and Martin MacPherson of North Bay, great niece Mackenzie and great nephew Brock survive their dear aunt. Aunts, uncles and cousins from Ontario and Cape Breton survive as well.
Among those grieving this dear lady is her sisterhood of close friends Dar McCoy, Linda Rioux, Carrie MacLeod, Diane Gauvreau Yackobeck and Louise Beauvais were there for her through good times and bad to help her when needed and Dar and Linda were there to hold her in their arms to the end. True friends, sisters indeed.
Many people will recognize my sister Karolin’s smiling face from Tim Hortons where she was employed for 24 years. Karolin was always cheerful, had the greatest sense of humor, would go out of her way to help others, self-sacrificing, a hard worker, a fighter, a friend, full of life and was a beautiful person inside and out. If she sounds like a super hero, she was! Every family should have a Karolin and we are thankful to have been the family that was blessed by her! Her interest were reading, crocheting, knitting, spending time with her sisterhood of close friends, watching movies, and she was a fabulous cook and baker.
We would also like to thank Dr. Jinnah for her gentleness and kindness also the exceptional care from all the hospital staff on C3.
We will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
So little sister rest, this is not goodbye our dear one, it is until we meet again. Rev 21:4 and Acts 24:15 We will see you in Paradise.
