John’s Obituary
John Drewniak, beloved husband of Margaret Drewniak (nee Sinclair) of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
John accomplished much throughout his life and was an Iron Worker for over fifty years. John was proud that he mentored many of the younger Iron Workers with whom he was employed.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and walking the dogs. He also loved sitting by the fireplace spending time with his wife, Margaret, and children, John Jr. and Marnie.
Besides his loving wife Margaret, John is survived by four daughters, Marnie Lynne Drewniak, Melanie Sommerfelt, Lorraine Sadler, Tammy Lestage; his son John Nick Drewniak Jr.; his beloved dogs, Roxie and Asher, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
John is also survived by his brothers, Mike (Anne) Drewniak and Orest (Shirley) Drewniak; sisters, Pauline McLeod and Jean Solomon.
John was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Nikolas; siblings, Helen Rowe and Peter Drewniak.
We would like to thank the staff at the Carewest Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre for the excellent care John received while residing there.
