John Edward Higgins age 73 years of Head of Jeddore and formerly Eastern Passage past away December 8, 2019 at Twin Oaks Hospital. Born in Halifax a son of the late Edward “Ed” and Dorothy LIntaman (Walsh) Higgins. He was employed at C.F.B. Shearwater from where he retired. He survived by wife Sylvia (nee Dooks), stepsons, Allan Murphy (Gail), Tim Murphy (Wendy), Doug Murphy (Colleen), as well as several grandchildren and Papa’s special girls, great granddaughters Kloie and Keira. He is also survived by sisters Mary Warnell, Eastern Passage, Donna Langille (Buster), Chilliwack B.C., Sharon Simpson, Eastern Passage, Joan Cashen (Gary) Eastern Passage, Anne Higgins, Eastern Passage and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Gerry Lintamin, step father Jim Lintamin, a nephew Kevin Langille. No service by request.
