Herb Stammler
On December 27, 2019, at the age of 75, Herb took the last step of his long journey and went home to be with The Lord. Cherished husband of Crys for 50 years. Proud father of Lori Yearwood, Joe and wife Gianna, Katie and partner Patrick. Adored Papa of Bjorn and Brooklin Yearwood, and Jack and Nicholas Stammler. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Bill (Nancy) and Norbert (Joanne). Much loved son-in-law of Dorothy Lake. Herb will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Herb was devoted to his volunteer work with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, APPD (ALSO) and many others. Herb retired from the GM Transmission Plant after 25 years of service. Herb’s faith was paramount in his life, and he demonstrated his peaceful nature to all who knew him. Special thanks to Herb’s dedicated care team provided by Lynn Calder and the staff at ALSO, and Dr. Bastien.
If you so desire, donations to Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario or the Windsor Symphony Orchestra would be appreciated by the family.
