Harold MacDonald
1942-2019
Harold Gregory MacDonald, age 77, of the
Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Fraser’s Mountain, passed away
Monday, December 9, 2019, in the Manor. Born in New Glasgow, he was a
son of the late Alexander and Bertha (Kearley) MacDonald. He owned his
own moving business in Ontario. He is survived by his wife, Sandra
“Sam”; son, Donald (Glenda), BC; step-daughters:
Marny (Tony), Ontario; Wendy (Alex) Smith, Kentucky; Lisa (David),
Ontario; several grandchildren; brothers: Allan (Carol), New Glasgow;
Dan, New Glasgow; Bob (Jean), Ontario; sister-in-law, Elizabeth
MacDonald, MacLellan’s Mountain. He was predeceased by an
infant son, David; sister, Joan Bowen; brother, David. Cremation has
taken place. A private celebration of life will take place. Donations
in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are
under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New
Glasgow.
