Collins, Glenn Joseph – Age 65 of The Falls (Tatamagouche), passed away suddenly at home on Friday, December 27, 2019. Glenn left this world doing what he loved, playing cards with friends. Glenn is survived by his wife, Patricia Collins, of 36 years; Step-children, Dale McFarlane, Seth Huntley (Erica Lowe), Paige McFarlane (Paul Marvin); his grandchildren, Jade McDonald (Nathan McDonald), Seven Randall and Sam Lowe; his 3 great grandchildren; his 11 brothers and sisters, Blair, Joey, Tanya, Bobby, Craig, Lee, Dana, Dawn, Trudy, Duane and Todd. Glenn was born in Cape Breton on August 7, 1954 to Joe and Patricia Collins. He served 15 years in the Canadian Military which included a peace keeping mission in Cyprus. Glenn enjoyed driving the many side roads of Nova Scotia while listening to classic rock. He was an avid rock hunter, tumbling the semi-precious stones and giving them away as gifts. He also enjoyed fishing with his brothers on the shores of the Bras d’or Lake. Glenn will be missed greatly by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will take place at the Grace Jollymore Arts Centre, 31 Creamery Road, Tatamagouche, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 4th, 2020.
