1935 – 2019
Calhoun, NB – Rev. Enrico “Henry” DeVito, 83, entered peacefully into the presence of Jesus on Monday, December 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at the Moncton Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Montreal, QC, he was the son of the late Emilio and the late Maria DeVito (Staniscia).
Henry will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Karen DeVito (MacDonald); his daughter, Tania Roberts (Joey) of Moncton; his two sons, Jeremy (Natasha) of Bouctouche and Joel (Carolyn) of Moncton; his four grandchildren, Brendan, Reghan, Craig and Andrea; his two sisters, Esther Crosto (late Vincent) of Brossard, QC and Irene Gianfelice (late Tony) of Montreal; his three brothers, Elie (Ida) of Brantford, James (Wanda) of Grimsby, ON and Danny (Rosemond) of Kingston, ON; also by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Philemon Delmaire (late Charlie) and Tina.
Henry pastored in the Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada since 1972, leading churches in New Brunswick, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. For the past thirty years he served as the Pastor of Highway Pentecostal Church in Parrsboro, NS.
Visitation will be held at Glad Tidings Church (2460 Mountain Rd, Moncton) on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 1 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm at the church with Rev. Jim Malloy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Highway Pentecostal Church of Parrsboro, NS or to a charity of your choice.
