Obituary for
Elinor Isabel Heagy (Knox)
August 10, 1925 – December 7, 2019
On Saturday, at Ruddy Shenkman Hospice, Elinor left us to join the love of her life Allan.
Loving Mother and best friend to her daughter Karen (Peter). Very special Grandma to Thomas (Amber) and Matthew. Dearest sister of Barbara (Les). Predeceased by sister Shirley and Lois. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Shamim Taherzadeh for his exceptional care. Karen Flindall, Care For, and Bayshore Health for supporting Mom in her final days at home and the wonderful and caring staff and volunteers at Ruddy Shenkman Hospice.
Visitation at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) Ottawa, on Thursday, December 12th from 11am until the time of the service in the Chapel at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to two organizations that supported Mom, The Good Companions or Hospice Care Ottawa.
