Hamburger, Elfriede:
Departed a well lived life on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at The Village at University Gates at the age of 90.
Dear wife of the late Peter Sr. of 68 years, loving mother to Peter Jr. (Patti Hill). Lovingly remembered by her grandson Jason (Amy), granddaughter Julie Emery (George) and her cherished great-grandchildren: Georgia, Meredith, Jackson, Cohen, and Lucy. She will also be missed by her extended family Lyndsay Warrington (Chris), Jodi Chessell (Troy) and their children. As well as, sister and brother-in-law Gerda and Juergen Otterstein, Tanya (Bernie) Liehs and their children.
Elfriede’s family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment will take place after the reception.
A heartfelt thank you to the Johnston Staff at The University Gates LTC where their love, explementary care, comfort and compassion were much appreciated.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
