Eilene Gladys DesRoches
December 15, 1934 – December 26, 2019
Eilene Gladys DesRoches passed away peacefully on December 26, 2019 with her family by her side. She had just celebrated her eighty-fifth birthday on December 15, 2019. Eilene will be missed by her family dearly but it brings great comfort to know she will be reunited with her husband Harry.
Eilene was born December 15, 1934 to Birger and Svea Haugen and was raised in Prince Albert, SK. She met and married the love of her life Joseph (Harry) DesRoches September 8, 1954 and to this union they raised three children Patrick, Terry and Shirley.
Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her son Pat (Sharon) DesRoches, their children Brett (Danica), Dannielle (Robin) Stacey, Jordan, Jared; her son Terry (Wendy) DesRoches; her daughter Shirley (Nicolas) Kriel, their children Thomas Allan, Ashlie Allan, Nicole Kriel and Kristopher Kriel, great grandchildren: Allie, Billie, Eva, Nina, Alex, Maddison and Emma; her siblings: Beverly, Greta, Sharon, Laura, Johnny, Marion and Douglas, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Eilene is predeceased by her husband Joseph “Harry” DesRoches.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 3, 2020 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel 575-28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Father Jim Kaptein officiating. Friends wishing to make donations in Eilene’s memory can do so to Alzheimer’s Society, 2550 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
