Eileen Monteith
Peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, Eileen Monteith of the former Delaware township in her 94th year. Beloved wife for 48 years of the late Gordon Monteith (1994). Loving mother of Linda and Nelvis Pez of Bright’s Grove and Lloyd Monteith of Delaware and the late Marilyn (Tim) Bulpit of Mississauga. Proud grandma of Mary Pez and Emily Pez. Predeceased by her sister Lorna Monteith (2016) and brother-in-law Stewart (2019) and her brother Trevor (Marg) Sutton (2019).
The family of Eileen Monteith would like to thank all of her relatives, friends, and neighbours with whom she had a chance to visit this year and in the last few years since her 90th birthday. She was thrilled to see you all and each and every one brought a smile to her face and that is the way we hope that you will remember her. A private family celebration of Eileen’s life has taken place. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Delaware. Reverend Sue Browning officiated. McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road.
