Phillips, Douglas Vincent. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Douglas Phillips at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on December 13, 2019. He was born in Tracy, NB on November 21, 1937 to the late Marjorie (DeWitt) and Leland Phillips. He is the husband of Elaine (Seeley) Phillips of Tracy, NB
Along with his wife Elaine, Douglas is survived by two daughters; Cherri (Mike), Deanna (Justan), three sons; Kelly (Heather), Derek, Andrew (Jana), one sister Marilyn, two brothers; Dale (Irene), Clinton (Debbie), nine grandchildren; Charity, Amanda, Jonathan, Edward (Ted), Stephanie, Shannon, MacKenzie, Sydney, Noah, four great grandchildren; Dexter, Sadie, Austin, Miranda, and many nieces and nephews.
Douglas was a very accomplished Heavy Equipment Operator and worked for many companies over his career. He really enjoyed music, playing primarily guitar but also knew how to play piano.
Besides his parents, Douglas is predeceased by a daughter Tanya and a brother Dwight.Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 for visitations from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of Living Water located at 685 Whitetail Dr. in Tracy, NB on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Josh Cameron officiating. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chapel of Living Water, or to a charity of your choice.
