Douglas Grass 19372019

Douglas Grass
1937-2019
Douglas
Grass (May 4, 1937-December 29, 2019) brother, father
and architect (University of Toronto – 1961) is bereft of life and,
while surrounded by his family, has peacefully ceased to be.
Father of Michael (Heather) Grass, Alex
(Kyra) Ocsai, Tara (Albert) Derickx and Joseph (Vi)
Grass.
Grandfather of Nicole, Daniel, Lily,
Elli and Loann.
Brother of Glen (Carol) Grass and Don
(Shirley) Grass.
Doug will be fondly remembered by family
and friends as a loving father, architect and witty SOB with a passion
for boating, fast cars, jazz, dogs, his kids, punctuality and proper
grammar.
Many thanks to the staff of the Drew
Nursing Home, Sackville, NB for their loving care of our father for
the past 5 years.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Doug’s wishes,
cremation has taken place. There is to be no visitation or
funeral services at this time.
Donations in Doug’s memory may be made
to the SPCA.
Sharing of memories and condolences may
be sent to the family by visiting Doug’s online memorial at
www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook
Page.
To paraphrase his favourite comedy group – He is no longer pining for
the fjords and has gone to meet his maker. He is an ex-parrot.
