RICHIBUCTO, NB – Delima “Del”
Brown 89, of Richibucto, formerly of Oshawa, ON passed away peacefully
at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, December 16,
2019. Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late
Joseph Comeau and late Celeste (McLaughlin) Comeau. She was
a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Oshawa. She loved
to play darts in her spare time. She was always happy to
lend a helping hand to many when she was living in
Oshawa.
Del will be sadly missed by her five sisters, Emely Daigle
(late Cyriac) of St. Louis, Mary Mercer (Lewis) of Whitby, ON, Stella
McKinnon (late Leo) of Richibucto, Anna Daigle (late Dolore) of St.
Louis, Alexina Hebert (Benoit) of St. Louis; two brothers, Lazare
Comeau (Eva) of Aldouane, Elzear Comeau (Geraldine) of St. Louis and
many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Francis (Frank) Brown; two sisters, infant Bibianne, Irma and four
brothers, Jean-Baptist, François, Aurele and
Alphonse.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 7-9 pm, Thursday at 9:00 am
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des
Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. The family wish to express their thanks
to Dr. Josette Vautour, Dr. Melanie Arsenault and all the staff at the
Villa Maria. Also, thank you to Jolene Daigle for all the
coffee visits with Del and to Tony Freeman’s family in
Oshawa. Thank you to Thompson’s Funeral Home for
the respect, kindness and professional service. Arrangements
are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
(523-4252).
