It is with great sadness, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, that we announce the peaceful passing of our sister Cynthia Croxall, surrounded by her family, at the age of 78. Cynthia was predeceased by her father, Cyril in 1971, mother Margaret in 2002 and sister Marny in 2017. She is survived by her sister Joan (Ray Porter) of Wasaga Beach, brothers Roy (Elizabeth Croxall) of Kirkland Lake and Jim (Gail Croxall) of Brampton and sister-in-law Molly of London, Ontario. She leaves behind nieces and nephews, Margeret Steip (Bob), David Ewing (Shelley), Kevin Croxall (Martian Borrenbergen), Derek Croxall (Renee), great nieces and nephews: Crystal Waltner, Stephanie Proper, Aysia Keeley, Rebecca and Katie Croxall, Drew McIntyre, Nathan and Carley Ewing, Kaleb and Jacob Croxall, great great nieces and nephews, Ellie and Benjamin Keley, Riley Proper and Hunter McIntyre. Cynthia was loving and giving and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a ward clerk at the Kirkland & District Hospital for over 30 years. She was a devoted life member of the Royal Canadian Legion and will be missed by members of the Ladies Auxiliary. Cynthia was famous for her cooking, baking and preserving all of which she shared with everyone.

As per her wishes, she has been cremated. A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held in the spring, the date will be announced.
