Karius, Marie Marguerite Cecile (nee Pelland) March 5, 1936 – December 16, 2019
The family announces with sorrow, her death, peacefully in her sleep, at Cassellholme in North Bay on Monday December 16, 2019 in her 83rd year.
Born in Kitigan Ontario to the late Florimond and the late Marie Ann Pelland. Loving wife of Bob Karius of North Bay. Dear mother of Rob (Jane) of Sudbury and Ron (Elisabeth) of Copper Cliff. Loving Oma of Sarah Boeker (Aaron), Lisa Karius, Véronique Karius, Katryna Karius (partner Paul) and Nikolaus Karius (fiancé Paula). Loving great Oma of Emmett Boeker.
Dear sister of Thérèse (Leon Savard), Simone (Jacques Cliche), Léo (Molly), Raymond (Brenda), Lucille (Barney Chouinard), Julianne (Steve Bell), Jeannine (Gaëten Beaudoin – predeceased), Noëlla (Paul Robillard), Rita (Dwaine Dugas) and Dianne (Gilles Jacques).
Also predeceased by her brothers Albert, George and Roger.
As per her wishes cremation has been entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES where a private family service will take place.
A special thank you to the caring staff on the third floor at Cassellholme who took exceptional care of her over the years.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to Cassellhome would be greatly appreciated by the family.
