Carmela Angione
Born in Villa Littorio, Salerno Italy on July 16, 1935 and passed suddenly on December 7, 2019 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving husband Francesco (1999). Much loved mother of Gaetano, Joe and wife Dina. Cherished Nonna of Frankie and wife Nina, Eric, Marco, Valerie, Robbie and Carmela. Adored Bis-nonna of Ericson and Joey. Predeceased by her siblings and her parents.
Carmela will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Carmela will be remembered as fun loving and outgoing lady who loved her family greatly. Carmela was always by her family’s side and would help them whenever she was needed. She was always ready with a heartwarming meal and a beautiful smile, along with a funny joke to brighten the day.
If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Monday, December 9, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, friends and family will gather after 8:00 a.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 until leaving in procession for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. to St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave.
Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
