Obituary for
Brandy Wind
Wind, Brandy:
It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of Brandy Alexandra Wind, at the age of 26 (February 19, 1993). She passed peacefully at home, in her sleep, on December 22, 2019 after a long battle with kidney issues.
She was the loving mother of Emily.
Dear daughter of Jennifer Bilenki and Ralph Wind.
Adored by her “Daddiness”, Steven Bilenki, who gave her his kidney to save her life 11 years ago. Survived by her siblings, Fiona, the late Kyla (December 2019), Brady, Brittany (Scott), Brody (Anna), Alicia, Justin (Kendra) and Joel.
Dearly loved by her father, Ralph (Roelof) Wind.
Lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Jake and Helen Loewen, as well as, Willemke Morey (Chuck).
Brandy will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many, many friends.
Brandy’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3 – 3:45 pm on Monday, December 30th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 4 pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations would be made to the Trillium Gift of Life Network (cards available at the funeral home). In honour of Brandy, please register to become a living donor for someone who may be in need.
