Beneteau Christopher July 1962 – December

Christopher Allan Beneteau
July 29th, 1962 – December 19th, 2019
With sadness, the family announces Chris passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19th, 2019, after a brief illness.
He leaves his sister, Mary Beth, her husband Andrew, nephews Cole and Daniel, niece Katie, Uncle Ron, Aunt Fran, as well as cousins Heath and Shannon and their families. He will be greatly missed by many friends including Murray, Heather, Emma, Alberta, Mark, Gil, Tony and the rest of the Windsor crowd. International Trucking Inc., especially Brenda, were very caring and supportive.
Chris started life in the roofing business, but eventually pursued a career as a long-haul professional driver. He loved the freedom of the open road. Whenever he returned home, his sweet tooth and generosity earned him the title of “Uncle Candy” or “Cheesecake”.
Golf was his favorite past time along with endlessly trying to pick all the winners each week in the NFL season. He came close a few times.
His bulldog Lugnut was a constant companion on the road as he criss-crossed North America.
Interment and a celebration of life will be held at his favorite local spot, The Lion’s Head Tavern, in early spring. Chris would have enjoyed that.
Donations to Toronto General Hospital, where he received extraordinary care, would be greatly appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Beneteau
