Barbara Malinski 2019

Obituary for
Barbara Malinski
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear wife and mother, and all around amazing person, Barbara Malinski on December 15, 2019, at the age of 88 years.
Barbara was the kindest person you would ever meet and had a most loving soul. Her gentle and giving personality won the hearts of many people including her husband, John. She was a great support for him, gave him the strength to push forward and succeed in his career. While being the best wife, she also was a loving, giving and adored mother.
She started her life in Poland, where she completed her Master’s degree in Economics, and married her husband, John. In the midst of her very successful career, she emigrated with John and their son, Wojtek to Edmonton, Alberta due to the political situation. While in Edmonton, she studied, worked and was active in many organizations including Church choir, and Polish Scouts to name a few.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have reached out to them during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 11485-106 Street NW, Edmonton with cremation to follow.
