Aurele Lucien Bourassa
Bourassa, Aurele Lucien – With sadness the family announces the death of Mr Aurele Bourassa of New Liskeard at the age of 62 years. Mr Bourassa passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard on Monday December 23, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
Aurele was born on July 23, 1957 in Haileybury to the late Albert Bourassa and to the late Agnes Vendette. He is survived by his loving wife Aline Bourassa [nee Beauchamp]; his loving daughters Cecile and her husband Patrick Lemieux, Annie Bourassa and her husband Marco Hamel and by his cherished granddaughter Veronique Lemieux. Aurele is also survived by his siblings Raymond and his wife Julie Bourassa, Roger and his wife Lana Bourassa, Yvonne and her husband Larry Peddie as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Aurele is predeceased by his parents and by his sisters Jacqueline Vendette, Pauline Bourassa and Nicole Bourassa Bujold.
In keeping with Aurele’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Aurele’s ashes will be placed in the Haileybury Catholic Cemetery Columbarium in the spring of 2020. Memorial contributions to the Canadians Diabetes Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
