GUZZO, Assunta
Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her Husband Pasquale of 59 years, Daughter Joanne & Husband Bob, Son Angelo & Wife Kim along with her 2 Grandchildren Mckenzie and Patrick. Assunta was loved by all including 5 Sisters Carmelina (Husband-Carmelo)both (pre-deceased), Biasilla (Husband-Vincenzo), Orsolina (Husband-Nicola), Antonietta (Husband-Michele-Deceased) & Anella (Husband-Luigi-Deceased), 3 Brothers Nicola (Wife-Maria), Carmine (Wife-Teresa) & Angelo (Wife-Franca) and Sister-In-Law Carmelina along with many Nieces and Nephews. Assunta‘s greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends, she will be remembered and missed by all who loved her. Relatives and friends are welcomed to the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, December 5 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue at Dufferin Street) on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, south of Hwy. 407). In memory of Assunta, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
