Anthonius Johannes Tony Schrama Friday December 6 2019

SCHRAMA, Anthonius Johannes (Tony)
Peacefully passed away in this 98th year on December 6, 2019 at Edgewater Gardens, Dunnville, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia Konst. Loving father of Ella (Kevin), Helena (John) and Simona (Bob). Cherished grandfather to Jason (Krystal), Devon (Todd) and Krystle. Special Opa to Khloe, Ava, Jaydyn and Evan. Tony was the sibling to 16 brothers and sisters, he immigrated to Canada after serving in the Indonesian War . He was a lifelong resident of Caledonia and had a passion for working in gardens keeping them pristine. The family extends a very special thanks to the staff of Edgewater Gardens who provided excellent care for him and went above and beyond, even though he presented to be a challenge at the best of times. Tony always referred to the Edgewater as his home for a number of years and loved the staff there. He always had a smile and a hug for them followed by his funny (sometimes sarcastic) remarks. Cremation has taken place, a private family interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Caledoina, will take place at a later Date. Arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL.
