Albert “Roy” Kristiansen
1942-2019
Kristiansen – The
death occurred at his late residence, surrounded by his loving family,
on Thursday, December 26, 2019, of Roy Kristiansen, of Freetown, aged
77 years. Born in St. Eleanors, he was the son of the late Paul and
Jean (Compton) Kristiansen. Survived by his wife Grace (McDonald)
Kristiansen; his children Calvin (Barbara), Olinda Kristiansen, Denise
(Garth) Reeves, Elaine (Dan) Locke, Kyla Kristiansen, Krista (Stuart)
Phillips, Natasha (Andrew) Hardy and Koren Kristiansen (Nathan
Whalen); grandchildren Douglas, Myranda (David), Christopher, Blake
(Rachel), Dorian, Cayden, Bryson, Jacob, Hudson and Minnie; a
great-grandson Ethan; sisters Ruth Lewis, Mae Milligan (Grant
McMillan), Doris (Eric) Dyment, Beverly (Douglas) Breen, Brenda
(Brian) Beaton; and by a brother Wilfred (Elizabeth) Kristiansen.
Predeceased by his granddaughter Layla Hardy; a sister Ethel
Kristiansen; brother Ernest Kristiansen; and by a brother-in-law Allen
Lewis. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral
service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St.
John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting
hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations to St. John’s
Anglican Church, St. Eleanors or the Canadian Cancer Society would be
appreciated.
