Obituary of Angelo Pizzacalla
PIZZACALLA, Angelo – Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 17th at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Arlene for 58 years. Cherished father of Mark (Christine), Angela Leone ( Daniel Andrews) and Paul (Paula). Loving Papa of Erica, Michael (Sarah), Amanda and Nicholas. Brother of Grace (George) Lillo and Mario (Anna) Pizzacalla. Predeceased by his brother Albino (Judy). Brother-in-law of Bob (Joanne) Malton and Richard (Barbara) Malton. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law Jim (Rosemary) Malton. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Angelo was a long time active member of Club Capri and Club Roma. He was retired from G.M. after over 35 years of service.
The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, December 21st from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday, December 22nd from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Sunday at 7:30 p.m in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Monday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. Entombment at Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Walker Family Cancer Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
