PRIEUR, Vyna “Vye” (née Dugas)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Vyna “Vye” Prieur (née Dugas) in Sudbury on Monday, November 11th, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Bob (Robert) Desgrosseilliers, her parents Rosa and Ovide Dugas. Beloved wife to Pete Prieur (predeceased by his wife Jeannette). She profoundly loved her siblings Raymond, Claire and Jackie and those that are there to welcome her, Rose, Aurore, Raymonde, Thérèse, P’tit Joe and Donald. Loving mother of Dan (Nicole), Bob (Sally Hitchcock), John (Arlene Nicol), André, Nicole (Gilles Leduc) and Jo-Anne (Shawn Ross) Desgrosseilliers. Stepmother to Billy Prieur (Leslie), Joyce (Teddy Rienguette), Carmen Harrison (Ted Brugess), Rita (Lorne Pettifer) and Denise (Mark Rienguette). Her many great-grandchildren and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Our Mom taught us how important it is to love and be gentle to oneself in order to truly love our family and friends. The family welcomes all those who wish to celebrate this amazing woman. Visitations will be held Thursday, November 14th, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd. Sudbury. A celebration of life will take place at the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury on Friday, November 15th, 2019 at 11 a.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Health Sciences North Foundation in recognition of the outstanding support and care provided by the nurses and health care staff. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
