Mary Assunta Blaquiere
1925-2019
The death of Mary Assunta Blaquiere of Minto, NB occurred November 20,
2019 at Hospice House Fredericton.
Born in Saint Paul, Kent Co. she was the daughter of the late Gilbert
and Marie Anne (Cormier) Richard.
Survived by a son, Jack (Assunta); daughters, Anita Gaudet (Alcide),
Florence DiCarlo (John), Yvonne Jones (John); 6 grandchildren; 3 great
grandchildren; sister, Jean Casey; several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to her parents, Assunta was predeceased by her husband,
Eloie Blacquiere in 1991; brothers, Dorice, John, Desiré, Lionel
and Clarence; a sister, Lorette Gauthier and Hermine Cormier.
No visitation or reception. Funeral Mass will take place 11:00AM
Monday, November 25, 2019 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment
will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
