Mary Annette Chiasson
Chiasson, Mary Annette, age 81,
of Antigonish passed away on November 27, 2019, in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Henry and
Frances (Rogers) Purcell.
Annette worked in the Dietary Dept. of St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends
and playing Bingo.
Annette is survived by daughters, Andrea Gerrior (Thomas
Pellerine); Angela (Jack) Cameron; son, Joey (Cathy) Fenton, all of
Antigonish; four grand daughters; two great grandsons; several
stepchildren; brother, Bernard, Antigonish; numerous nieces and
Predeceased by husband, Joseph; brothers, Joe, Frank, and
Henry; sister, Margie.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held
Monday, December 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm
in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church,
Guysborough Intervale, on Tuesday,
December 3rd at 11:00 am Rev.
Callistus Abazie presiding. Burial in the parish
Family flowers only please. In Memoriam, donations to St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation. Many thanks to the
Drs. and nurses of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, for their
excellent care.
