Obituary
Leslie George Rolfe passed away peacefully on November 26th at the age of 96. He is predeceased by his son and daughter in law Peter and Fran. Survived by his loving family; Dorothy his wife of 70 years, daughter Daphne (Barrie), grandchildren, Derek (Chris), Lindsay (James), Russell (Victoria), Daniel, and great grandson Jordan.
Les served in the British Army in World War 2. In 1957 Les and his young family immigrated to Canada. In his new community he became a Scout Master and a Freemason. He served as Worshipful Master of Emerald Lodge and a member DeWolfe Lodge.
Les enjoyed all forms of sports and was active in bowling, darts, golf, badminton, table tennis and billiards. He loved to watch tennis, hockey, soccer, football and curling.
We invite you to join us in a celebration of his life on December 2nd at 1pm at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Cancer Society would be appreciated. A special thank you to the staff of Maple Ridge palliative care and the staff of McKenney Creek Hospice.
