Obituary of Leonard John Piasentino
PIASENTINO, Leonard John (Retired from Service Canada after 29 years of service) – surrounded by his family at the N.H.S. – St. Catharines site on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Len Piasentino of St. Catharines in his 67th year. Son of the late Joseph Piasentino and Mary (Savoia). Beloved father of Candace (Joshua Semenuk), Vanessa (Marty Mako) and Nathan Piasentino (Brenda). Loving Grandpa of Olivia & Liam Semenuk, Lyla & Chloe Mako and Chelsea Piasentino. Brother of the late Donald Piasentino. Len will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Len was a loving father who dedicated his whole life to his family. He enjoyed family celebrations and vacationing with his children and grandchildren. He was the heart of his family and the center of their world. His strength in the face of adversity and his positive attitude have left a lasting legacy. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Rite of committal at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On-line condolences may be left at www.bocchinfusofh.com
