Surrounded by his family, Kemys Kingsley Cosman, age 85,
husband of Ivy (Hawthorne-Allen) Cosman of Norton, NB, passed away
peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at the Saint John Regional
Hospital. Kemys was born on August 12, 1934 in Kingston, NB, one of 18
children born to Lawrence and Brentha (McLean) Cosman.
Kemys worked as a painter and at NB. Power in the
80’s and 90’s. He enjoyed watching his fish jump,
playing cards, dancing, and most music. He also liked jokes and a good
story. He was a great talker and liked to visit people and offer help
when possible. Kemys was very fun loving and always had a

Foulger of Jeffries Corner and Debra Cosman and Mike Savoy of Mercer
Settlement; son Francis Cosman and Tanya McLellan of Collina;
grandchildren John Michael and Nicholas Herrington, Rebecca and Tyson
Foulger, and Brianna McLean; his siblings Ansley, Wayne, and Eddie
Cosman and Gloria Holland; sister-in-law Betty Mullaly; several
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife
Roberta Mullay; granddaughter Ashley.

(839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to
8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Norton, will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.,
followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
