WITTEVEEN, Harmen
Peacefully at the Dundas Manor in Winchester with his family by his side on Thursday November 14, 2019 age 93 years. Harmen Witteveen formerly of Finch. Beloved husband of the late Aartje (Prins) Witteveen. Loved father of Judy Gillard (Ron) of Finch, John Witteveen (Corry) of Ingleside, Brian Witteveen of Finch, Joanne Leeman (Ron) of Chesterville and Melinda Witteveen (Jeff) of Morrisburg.Dear brother of Martin Witteveen (Linda) of Monetville. Survived by other siblings in the Netherlands and by his sister-in-law Rikkie White of Dunbar. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Harmen and Gertje (Kamphuis) Witteveen. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF HARMEN WITTEVEEN’S LIFE WILL HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 19, 2019 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Interment to follow at the Finch Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Chalmer’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
